The Wings + Horns Fall/Winter 2009 collection is getting a lot of play on the blogs as of late, with Roden Gray giving us a look at a preview of the full line. This offering is full of stand out pieces, from the wool and leather varsity jacket to the hand made Cowichan style knit sweaters and vests, as well as the incorporation of a few cotton/cashmere pieces. The collection is looking the most full and complete to date with a good range of high quality simple but effective pieces, made from the finest materials with solid construction all made in Vancouver. I am absolutely in love with the quilted chambray M-65 as well as the wool Canadian Military style MK2 Field jacket, but I am a military jacket fiend so that is no surprise. Roden Gray and Fourhorsemen should start receiving their f/w 09 stock around the end of the month, so check them out to get your hands on at least one of these great pieces. Keep reading for a few of my favorite looks from the collection…
