The New York Times has done this great feature for their website called ‘One in 8 Million.’ The project is about everyday people from New York and their personal stories and lives. It covers a wide range of interesting individuals, showing the great diversity of peoples from the city that never sleeps. There are some really great stories, harsh and inspirational, all compiled in a video done with a great photography and an audio interview, with a new interview added weekly. I really like the ‘bar fighter’ pictured above, the ‘ex-bank robber’ the ‘sneaker connoisseur’ and the most recent, the ‘uncertain gang member.’ This is a great feature and one that I will be checking back on for the updates. Check NYT online for the full feature.
