Falty DL x XLR8R

XLR8R recently chatted/chopped it up with one of the true current future merchants of electronic music, Falty DL. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the man last night, before he played a high-energy set of new dubstep, garage, and overall bass magic. Drew Lustman is a consummate nice guy, and his perspective on music isĀ  breath of fresh air in the extremely overcrowded producer’s market. Honing in on the smooth shuffle feel of UK garage with a NYC twist, Falty DL’s recordings over the course of 2009 have been some of the most critically acclaimed productions of the year, and to have it backed up with a genuine quality human reality makes it even better.. let’s just say the 84/85 boys were getting loose on the dancefloor all night. Check out this vid as Lustman explains both his musical inspirations and how to craft the perfect Atlantic roll.

  1. I actually don’t like sushi that mush (fish in general), but I really enjoyed watching this vid. Very relaxing.
