Junya Watanabe Fall/Winter 2010

Junya Watanabe is one of the newest collections to be previewed at Paris fashion week, and I can confidently say it is one of my favourites thus far. Watanabe’s fall/winter 2010 takes inspiration from his f/w 2009 collection, which was largely fuelled by hunting styling, with the 2010 collection taking the hunting influence and toning it down. The line has a great deal of vintage style suiting, with double breasted/three button styles making a huge comeback as we’ve seen over the last few seasons. I love the overall look and feel of the collection, easily wearable pieces with great cuts and just enough tradition fused with current styling, making for one of my favourite collections seen for f/w 2010.
