J.Crew recently showcased their upcoming fall/winter 2010 collection at the penthouse of Milk studios in New York. The collection itself treks deeper into the heritage realm, with rugged looking classic styles reinterpreted for today’s market. It takes huge inspiration from US heritage brands, which in the end gives it more of a Japanese feel than American. There are a few notable collaborations in this collection including a beautiful Kelty rucksack and Crescent Down Works outerwear pieces which are probably my favorites overall. I love the look and presentation; some people may feel it is following what’s ‘on trend’ a bit too hard but I don’t see that as a bad thing. Keep reading for the lookbook…
