Bedwin & The Heartbreakers S/S 2011 Lookbook

Here’s the full seasonal lookbook from Tokyo-based label Bedwin & The Heartbreakers, bringing a variety of influences to their spring/summer 2011 collection. I appreciate the simplicity of the line, and while the short pants might not be my thing, the rest of this collection is looking bang-on, especially the jackets, hoodies, and overshirts. Maybe the best thing about Bedwin is that unlike many of their Japanese contemporaries, you can actually purchase the line in North America… keep reading for ¬†the entire lookbook.

Victim Spring/Summer 2011

Victim has released some of their spring/summer 2011 collection, which is starting to hit retailers in the Japanese markets. I really like the looks presented here with great street styling and wearable, everyday looks. Standout pieces would be the front pocket cargo pants and shorts, the full fit military pants, the denim jackets and the great backpack seen up top. Another hit from one of our favourites, keep reading for more looks…

The Japan-centric wing of Ben Davis, here are a look at the initial spring/summer 2011 releases from the Project Line, which continues to produce stellar collections generally unavailable to the country in which it’s made. Everything in this drop looks great, but my highlight has to be the semi-acid wash overshirt/jacket featured above… amazing. Following up their stellar f/w 10 collection, Japan’s SOPHNET. has just released this s/s 11 lookbook, full of Mickey and Peanuts imagery and one of the season’s biggest trends, Tiger camo. Employing a certain Californian cool and and raw film aesthetic, I really like the sequence of shots and the styling: easy, casual, and uncomplicated, just as a spring/summer collection should be… keep reading for more and click the images for full size.

We have been following Club Monaco and their progression over their last few collections; carrying on with that, here are their ‘Looks’ for spring 2011. I like the presentation and looks seen here, they seem to cross over from late fall to early spring. I really like the grey shawl collar Pea Coat and the more casual blazers. Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2011

Tres Bien has just received their first run of the Our Legacy spring/summer 2011 ‘Observations’ collection. The pieces are simplistic and clean but slightly more casual than previous seasons. I really like the color range, subtle colors like greens, blues and greys done on classic style 40′s and 50′s ¬†shirts, sweats, chinos and shorts. I love the wearability of the range, no fuss whatsoever just clean classic looks. Keep reading for more…
