Seventy Four Spring/Summer 2011

Koji Shimizu’s Tokyo-based Seventy Four put together this short lookbook for their spring/summer ’11 collection, inspired by the LA lifestyle Shimizu embraced during his 10+ years living in California. Considering the label’s motto is ‘Built Tough,’ the lookbook does justice to the vintage/workwear aesthetic, featuring a whole lot of denim mixed in with some cotton basics pieces. I generally appreciate Tokyo’s high-street take on anything American, so this is a win… more after the jump.

Brakeless x Zombie Corp. Lookbook

Lot of familiar faces in this one! Montreal’s very own Brakeless have teamed up with fellow 514 dirtbags Zombie Corp. for a run of tees showcasing all things motorcycle, fixed, bmx, and metal. Here’s the full lookbook for the collaboration, featuring members of both crews in their natural habitats (two wheels, BBQs and tattoo chairs). I really like the treatment throughout, with a great mix of color and black + white shots capturing the good times. Bigs ups Syl and Jesse from Brakeless, those bikes look nice boys! Roden Gray ‘Only Lonely’ S/S 2011 Women’s Lookbook

Roden Gray have teamed up with 01 Magazine to produce this great lookbook for their spring/summer 2011 women’s collection. The lookbook was photographed by Jennilee Marigomen, styled by Redia Soltis, and modelled by Alex Richardson. I am always a fan of Marigomen’s photographic style, she nails that vintage feel so well. The styling is also really on point, with great looks for the ladies for the warmer months. Keep reading for the rest of this impressive lookbook…
