Lee 101 Fall/Winter 2011

These two pieces featured above from Lee 101′s upcoming f/w 2011 run look quite similar to stuff we’ve vintaged up during our years grinding through all the VV’s, Sally Anns, and St. VdPs. Taking obvious cues (i.e. exact replicas) from early Lee, Woolrich, Carhartt, and other domestic workwear manufacturers, this line looks deadly, the right amount of masculinity intersecting with current fashion trending. No other info online other than what I saw at Selectism, click though for some lookbook shots.

Victim Fall/Winter 2011

One of my favourite labels in terms of styling, Japan’s Victim has just released this first look in to their f/w 2011 collection, entitled Holiday. Victim likes to release multiple lookbooks during the course of a season (a savvy strategy in the blog era), as evidenced by entry 1 in their website ‘style’ section – this, however, is a different set, with a touch simpler styling, a bit more appealing to me. The two looks above are killing it: Chucks-style kicks, simpler colors, and easy-to-wear combinations… click through for the rest of this series.

FUCT SSDD Fall/Winter 2011

Erik Brunetti’s FUCT SSDD label has revealed the first look at their f/w 2011 run, showing us why when you’re the originator, things seem to hold a certain weight of authenticity. I know I recently bemoaned the model-against-a-white-wall treatment, but this lookbook is so well composed, utilizing different focal points to showcase the product. Feeling the camo quilted California coat and the paisley-lined leather biker jacket, this collection is all aces… keep reading for more.

08sircus Autumn/Winter 2011-12 Lookbook

Here is a look at 08sircus and their range for the upcoming fall/winter 2011 season. I really like the overall aesthetic of the collection, rugged yet refined. The lookbook is shot in a unique way with interesting use of focus on the subject, who just so happens to be the same model which Bedwin & the Heartbreakers has been using. Woolrich John Rich & Bros. Spring/Summer 2012

Another solid showing for the upcoming spring/summer 2012 season is Woolrich John Rich & Bros. The diffusion label is a slightly more refined/dressier version of their classic workwear styles. There are no shortage of wearable looks shown here, with great usage of layering all while not being too over the top. This is a great collection through and through with a great mix of styles. Converse Black Canvas Fall 2011 Lookbook

Black Canvas is a new men’s collection from Converse, set to make its debut for the fall 2011 season. And from what we see here Cons smashed it, from the individual pieces through to the cohesiveness of the collection. The styling of the lookbook is the real standout for me, the composition of each shot carefully considered, with so much attention to detail from head to foot. This lookbook is really rekindling my love for Converse, and I can’t wait to see this line in real life. Doesn’t seem to be any info yet re: pricepoints and distribution, so we’ll wait and see… til then click though for more.
