Left Field NYC 2012 Lookbook

Left Field NYC have released this new lookbook for their 2012 denim range. We have covered this line a few times previously, with top notch classic American styles all produced in the USA whats not to love? For their 2012 denim range they have gone heavy in the black dept. which I am not mad at all. I am also feeling the shoot, motorbikes, classy dirtbags and a babe for good measure. Read through for the rest of the lookbook.

Black Scale 2012 Spring/Summer Video Lookbook

[vimeo 40620214]

Really dope video interview/lookbook from Black Scale for their s/s 2012 collection. Produced by SF’s  Werehaus and featuring the city’s prominent skyline and notable monuments, the video is narrarated by label founder Mega and goes in to his life philosophies etc. A bit different than most vid lookbooks and soundtracked perfectly, this is a good look all around.

andwander Spring/Summer 2012

Moving things right along in the Japanese outdoors gear department here is a look at andwander and their spring/summer 2012 collection. Taking its inspiration from classic and technical outdoors styles the label has combined the two for this great looking collection. I also really like the shots from the lookbook, great presentation all around. Click through for the rest of the collection.

Cut-Rate

Cut-Rate is a Baltimore MD-based line that I found through their (his) excellent blog, 21 Runnin. Looks like CR is basically a one-man show, quality workwear with a timeless garage aesthetic and ethos… ‘it doesn’t want to be clean and kept, but used, destroyed, and replaced. Cut-Rate is the ubiquitous, the classic, and a symbol of the machine of American life.’ There’s also a heavy dose of motorcycle influence/content, mostly choppers with some streetfighters in there as well. All rad. Click through for a few more lookbook shots.

Wild Things Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook

Japanese outdoors line Wild Things present this concise lookbook for their s/s 2012 collection, all yama girls and faux-California mountaineering hippie nostalgia. Make sure to visit the site and check the individual pieces, so much fire for this season, from the jackets through to the packs. Click images to view full size, more after the jump.

XLARGE × Mountainsmith

XLARGE Japan have teamed up with Colorado’s Mountainsmith for this run of 5 packs, a good look for both companies. Mountainsmith are OG’s in the domestic manufacturing game, with a wide range of outdoors products built to top standards. XLARGE do the styling right on this run, and I’m especially messing with the backpack and hip bag.

Rab Mountaineering

Founded in 1981 in Sheffiled UK, Rab Carrington’s eponymous technical outdoorswear and accessories line is designed to meet the needs of a new breed of lightweight alpinist using techniques pioneered by Rab himself. This equipment had to be designed for the most extreme conditions in the world.’

I came across the Rab line digging through quality local independent outdoors retailers and really liked what i saw: great fits, inadvertently stlyish colorways, and a total commitment to high function. From what I saw in real life the gloves, waterproof pieces and shoftshells would all be perfect for my westcoast routines, and come in at a comparable pricepoint to upper-end North Face or Patagonia. Hit the jump to check more of my online selections from Rab and check their site for more.
