Frite Nite Podcast 027

I’ve been really lucky to have made the acquaintance of Paul Salva over the past couple years through playing a few shows together and a good time kicking it at Bass Coast last summer. Him and Comma happened to be at a festival I had played in Sacramento earlier this year, and afterwards they asked me to do the latest entry in to the podcast series for their powerhouse label Frite Nite. Definitely an honour and I’m really hyped on the opportunity and the mix I turned in… if you like those house and techno vibes peep my FN Podcast #027 HERE.

FOB Factory Autumn/Winter 2012

Japanese label FOB Factory has released these new items for their autumn/winter 2012 collection. The label is a small operation based in the Kojima district in Okayama, with all their products being made there. They focus on making garments from traditional methods, such as hand dying their denim, using organic cottons and constructing them with Union Special sewing machines. The items are all military or workwear inspired with some great looking details and specs. Really digging the look of these pieces for the a/w ’12 season, especially those ‘Relax Easy Pants’.

Idlehand Fall 2012

[vimeo 48122110]

The collaboration between Sylvester from Brakeless and Meka, here’s the fall 2012 lookbook from Montreal’s Idlehand, a new venture following their Zombie Corp collection from a while back. From their about,

‘Street culture and responsibility: these are the themes at the heart of the first collection of IDLEHAND. Taking off where “Brakeless x ZOMBIEcorp” had left them, this first collection is as much a reference to the duos experiences within their motorcycle club than it is to their deep values: authenticity, positivity, and simplicity.’

Number (N)ine at Zozospot

Back on the market for the first time since ________, Takahiro Miyashita’s Number (N)ine label here shows a small collection and lookbook at Zozospot. If translation serves me well, this run is a reprint of items from SS 2006, SS 2001 and AW 2001. As much as I enjoy The Soloist, NN is the stuff and always has been.. loving the jeans here, more after the jump and click images for full size.

Triple Aught Design Fall 2012

Fall 2012 lookbook from San Francisco’s Triple Aught Design, one of the best high-technical lines out of North America with a great eye toward unparalleled function intersecting with styling that works in the city as well (well, if tech is your game in the first place). I love everything TAD does and it’s no surprise a lookbook consisting of motorcycle camping in the desert would be right up my alley… great to see the line pushing their presentation as much as their apparel.

andwander Fall/Winter 2012

andwander are back with this look at their fall/winter 2012 collection. The Tokyo based core-outdoors label is really killing it with this one, with great looking technical pieces as well as some more casual relaxed styles as well. The lookbook is beautifully shot in the wilds, with some good old fashioned hiking, fishing and campfires going down. Click through for the rest.
