Having surfed the island (Vancouver Island) for many years, Storm was the first ever ‘brand’ that people rep’d with pride as a piece of the cold water west coast surf identity. The hoodies and stickers were everywhere from Tofino down to Sombrio, and the shop was formative piece in the popularization of the PNW surf aesthetic. Which is why I’m super hyped to see them collaborating with Victoria’s own Sitka on a run for spring 2013, good to see cooperation within a culture rather than competition. Oh, and great promo vid too!
