Here is the third edition of our Grammin’ Out series, which features photos from Kevin and I’s day to day action. With Kevin recently moving back to Vancouver Island we are officially back in the same city (again) and couldn’t be more stoked. Over the last while we have really been making an effort to get out there and explore the island and all that surounds it, and as such here is a look at some of our travels and day to day adventures. If your a regular visitor here you know we like our bikes, so its no doubt that we like the Levi’s Commuter collection. Here is a look at the spring/summer 2013 Commuter Collection from Levi’s, geared (excuse the pun) towards the modern day bike commuter. The collection is small but concise; one technical riding jacket, a trucker jacket, a graphic tee and a few styles of pants, both denim and chinos. If you’re going to buy into a market (cough, cough) then at least make it a positive one like cycling or running (images: via).

Here are some selects from White Mountaineering’s spring/summer 2013 collection entitled Training Day, a decidedly athletically-styled lookbook from the label. These looks are a bit wild out for the streets (unless you keep it triller than most) but the composition is bang on, expected from the vanguard brand. Highlights for me include the long-cut buttonups and the New Bally-style sneaks (pics via).

After bringing you a few #menswear collections its time to reel it back a bit with this casually styled lookbook from one of my favourite lines as of late, Fill the Bill and their spring/summer 2013 lookbook. I really feel these styles seen here, they have a laid back look and feel to them with a nice colour palette throughout and some great looking washes to the fabrics. Really stoked on what this line has been cooking up over the last few seasons.

We haven’t missed posting a ts(s) lookbook here on the ol’ blauge since their first season back in fall 2009: with that being said, here is a look at their newest collection for the spring/summer 2013 season. While this warm weather collection is a little more Italian casual than their usual Japanese workwear aesthetic I can still show the brand some love.

Tojyo’s .efiLevol has returned with this s/s 2013 lookbook, one I’ve been looking for. The label has been owning the presentation game for the past few seasons, avant high street fashion with for both the sexes. As per season’s past I’m feeling the women’s looks more, but shouts out to the proportions and patterns in use for the men.

Here’s an awesome behind-the-scenes video showcasing the build of Aether‘s new San Francisco standalone retail shop, the first for the the label. I’m a huge fan of the recontextualization of shipping containers as live/work/retail spaces, and this build is truly top notch, as if we would expect anything less from a brand of Aether’s caliber. Can’t wait to check this out sometime soon.
