Markaware Spring/Summer 2012

The label’s debut on 84/85, here is the first look at Markaware‘s spring/summer 2012 collection. Clean tailoring from the Japanese line is the key here, with a sort of EG-meets-Kenzo thing going on design wise. Top look especially is a banger and I’m down with the heavy check suit, click through for more.

Marvy Jamoke Spring/Summer 2012

Really dope s/s 2012 collection from one of our favourite lesser-known labels over the past few seasons, Marvy Jamoke. The Japanese line is kind of killing it on the more wild-out streetwear/high fashion tip, and brings something new to the table every season. The top two looks here are my definite winners, and while most of the lookbook is a bit too much for this guy on the day-to-day, there’s a lot of pieces that could be taken on their own for surefire radness… keep reading for the rest.

SOPHNET. Spring/Summer 2012

A label we’ve covered extensively in the past, SOPHNET. is back with this spring/summer ’12 lookbook, continuing the aesthetic direction we’ve seen from the Japanese brand over the past couple years. A lot here could be worn dressed up or down, either way a solid looking front-to-back run full of warmer-months goodness.. more after the jump, click images to expand.

Dana Lee Fall 2012 Preview

One of collective favourites Dana Lee was recently in the studio working on the lookbook for her fall 2012 collection with photographer Jody Rogac. These two work seamlessly together, at this point I couldn’t really picture a Dana Lee collection not shot by Rogac. Here is a little preview of the lookbook, all shot on polaroid. Looking forward to seeing the rest, sure to come in the very near future.

Black Scale Spring/Summer 2012 Lookbook

Black Scale are back with this new s/s 2012 lookbook, a slick seasonal presentation from the SF/NYC label who have been catching a lot of fame lately, most notably for their ongoing A$AP Rocky collaboration. I like where the line is headed (on some grown streetwear game), and this season’s back and yellow theme is a good look… keep reading more.

FWK by Engineered Garments Spring/Summer 2012

The only women’s line that gets regular play on 84/85, here is the first look at s/s ’12 from FWK by Engineered Garments. Love the model choice for this lookbook, mirroring the direction often taken in the men’s presentations, and the collection looks great against the water/greenery backdrop.. from the plaids through to the range of blues FWK does it every time, and this would look good on you ladies 16-60… click through for more.

Lifetime – Uniform Standard Fall/Winter 2012 Video

Vancouver’s Lifetime have just released their newest video for their Uniform Standard Collection for the fall/winter 2012 season. The video is shot in the wilds of British Columbia, which for me is very relatable as I just spent the last week driving through the Rockies from B.C. to Alberta and back. The video is directed by Brock Mitchell and features Jeremy Wallace, with narration by Gustave Many Bears and music by the Constantines. This is a beautifully shot video featuring Lifetime’s collection alongside our always impressive B.C. landscapes.
