XLARGE × Mountainsmith

XLARGE Japan have teamed up with Colorado’s Mountainsmith for this run of 5 packs, a good look for both companies. Mountainsmith are OG’s in the domestic manufacturing game, with a wide range of outdoors products built to top standards. XLARGE do the styling right on this run, and I’m especially messing with the backpack and hip bag.

Mister Freedom x Sugar Cane MFSC Spring/Summer 2012

Here is a look at a heavyweight collaboration between Mister Freedom and Sugar Cane Co. entitled Men of the Frontier, which takes inspiration from the old western days of early American cultures. “Although inspired by the early American Frontier days, we stayed away from the Hollywood clichés of the “Cowboys and Indians,” as interpreted by early movie studio costumers. Instead, freely incorporating American/Native Indian/Mexican/European elements, we milled original fabrics and designed garments that could plausibly have existed, but stay our own humble addition to today’s attires for discerning gents.” Read through for the rest of the MFSC spring/summer 2012 collection.

Carhartt WIP x 5BORO NYC ‘New York City To Detroit’

Top sk8 vid to celebrate the Carhartt WIP and 5BORO NYC collaboration. Such amazing footage from Detroit and numerous NYC boroughs, and the pieces are tastefully featured in between high-speed street skating from 5BORO team members… soundtrack kills too, all good things.

Uniforms For The Dedicated Spring/Summer 2012

Swedish label Uniforms For The Dedicated return with this striking lookbook for their s/s ’12 collection. I know we’ve made fun of the whole ‘put some models in a forest’ approach to lookbooks in the past, but when you’ve got nordic evergreens, cliffs and fjords it just works (and also looks a lot like our home of BC). Collection looks good too, especially like the layering w/ the shorts etc… keep reading for more.

Fuct x Ebbets Field Spring/Summer 2012

Here is a great little colab we can get behind, Fuct x Ebbets Field for the spring/summer 2012 season. Over the last while Erik Brunetti of Fuct has been spending some time in Seattle working with different artists and designers so it was no real surprise to see a colab with Seattle’s Ebbets Field. The two teamed up for a classic style baseball shirt with retro style felt lettering, featuring Fuct across the front and ‘Friends You Can’t Trust’ across the back. I assume this piece will be dropping in the near future.

Push Connection x Masterpiece Spring/Summer 2012

Japanese label Push Connection have just released their newest collaboration with Masterpiece for their spring/summer 2012 collection. They have done two styles; one backpack in a classic outdoors/mountaineer flap top style, and a waist or over the shoulder bag. Both styles are done in a heavy nylon outer with suede leather trim details. I am a big fan of the colorways and the classic look, and seeing as they are made by Mastermind you know they are top notch quality.

nanamica Spring/Summer 2012

Nanamica is a line we’ve covered pretty extensively here, big fans of their performance-oriented collections and thoughtful collaborations. This season is no different, including pieces with The North Face, Filson, and Champion, all of which are ongoing partnerships. On another note I’ve always appreciated the layout of their collection promo with the outfit suggestions, which are generally all killer… a few more pics after the break.

Starter x Carhartt Canvas Snapbacks

Spotted at da Snob, how could we not repost a Carhartt x Starter collab? Best snapbacks in the game (paneling, brim, etc) with the legends of work, oh yeah, in canvas too? On point. Few more styles after the jump.
