Push Connection x Masterpiece Spring/Summer 2012

Japanese label Push Connection have just released their newest collaboration with Masterpiece for their spring/summer 2012 collection. They have done two styles; one backpack in a classic outdoors/mountaineer flap top style, and a waist or over the shoulder bag. Both styles are done in a heavy nylon outer with suede leather trim details. I am a big fan of the colorways and the classic look, and seeing as they are made by Mastermind you know they are top notch quality.

nanamica Spring/Summer 2012

Nanamica is a line we’ve covered pretty extensively here, big fans of their performance-oriented collections and thoughtful collaborations. This season is no different, including pieces with The North Face, Filson, and Champion, all of which are ongoing partnerships. On another note I’ve always appreciated the layout of their collection promo with the outfit suggestions, which are generally all killer… a few more pics after the break.

Starter x Carhartt Canvas Snapbacks

Spotted at da Snob, how could we not repost a Carhartt x Starter collab? Best snapbacks in the game (paneling, brim, etc) with the legends of work, oh yeah, in canvas too? On point. Few more styles after the jump.

Muttonhead x Raised by Wolves

Here is a sneak peak at the upcoming collaboration between two Canadian based labels, Muttonhead and Raised by Wolves. They have joined their efforts to produce a two-piece mini capsule, consisting of a classic style raglan crewneck sweater and a 5-panel hat. Both of these lines do a great job of focusing on North American manufacturing and this collaboration maintains that focus, with the sweaters being produced in Toronto and the hats being made in LA. Look for this collection to drop for the autumn/winter 2012 season…

Sitka: Crown Collection Fall/Winter 2012

Hailing from the true Westcoast, Vancouver Island-based Sitka have just released this lookbook for a new venture from the line, the Crown collection. With the Crown collection Sitka is looking to branch off from their main line and bring a more premium collection to the market. This capsule collection is small but features some nice pieces for both guys and girls as well as a few notable collaborations, one being a really nice Cowichan style sweater from Vancouver’s Granted. The collection is mostly made up of pieces done in a wool/cotton blended fabric which is durable and warm while still remaining soft and comfortable. The lookbook was shot at a derelect castle located at the top of a perfect westcoast vantage point. Above is the b+w polaroid shots from the lookbook and click through for the color shots.

Whiz Limited x Disney Crewneck

Perhaps the most overdone collab of the past forever is Disney x _____, usually Mickey flipped in some half-assed way… meaning, normally I would pass this right over. That said, I have a dark history of digging deep in vintage bins searching for the right Disney piece, so I’m always open to the right interpretation, and Whiz LTD really nail it with this one, a blacked-out crew that comes together perfectly. Maybe this can be the last Disney collab ever? Not likely but we can always dream.

Push Connection x Master-Piece Bags

Nice little collaboration between Japanese labels Push Connection and Master-Piece on a backpack and a smaller shoulder bag. Really feeling both designs, normally I wouldn’t got for something like the ‘push’ script splashed across the whole thing, but it definitely works here. Push Connection is a label I just found out about, one to keep an eye on… detail shots after the jump.

The Great Divide – Winter 2011 Lookbook

The Great Divide have put together this shop lookbook for the Winter 2011 season. The spread features some of the shops lines shown together, from Silas, Won Hundred, Denim Demon, Pointer, to Libertine-Libertine, to name a few. I dig the casual look of the shoot, with coffees, burgers, folding bikes and a Ruckus’, all good in my books. Read though for the rest of the lookbook and click for hi-res images.
