If there is one ladies’ line that we constantly follow it would have to be the FWK line from Engineered Garments. Here is a look at the lookbook to accompany the fall/winter 2012 collection, shot in a similar manner to the EG mens f/w 2012 lookbook with an editorial feel to it. Unis New York have released their new spring/summer 2012 collection, and they recently put together this nice little shoot featuring their Charlie jacket from their ss12 range. The shoot features model Adrianne Ho rocking the Charlie in all her its glory. With photography by Ryan Kibler and creative direction by Jake Davis, this is a great little shoot. I always like pretty girls in good mens basics and this reaffirms those thoughts.

This will of course be awesome and you will want a copy, so get it quick because they only printed 500 and the way AP has blown up over the past year you can be sure they’ll sell through.

Another label we’ve been following closely for years, here are some selections from the just-released summer 2012 lookbook by 45rpm. As with recent seasons I’m feeling the women’s styles more than the men’s: too much linen and boat shoes on the guy’s side for me, but the girl’s looks are perfect examples of layering and simplicity. Tokyo-based label NOMA t.d. here presents their s/s ’12 lookbook, a complete men’s and women’s collection in the same easy casual style they’ve been at since 2009. For the most part I prefer the women’s looks, as the guy’s looks are a bit effeminate for me… the presentation works perfectly for the girl’s pieces though, sun soaked, free flowing and timeless (click to expand images).

What to say here other than ‘damn’… Carhartt WIP is on a roll in the women’s streetwear game with their flipped men’s pieces and specific girl’s cuts, from short dresses through to oxfords and varsity jackets. Yosuke Aizawa’s women’s label Porlar has just unveiled this f/w 12-13 collection, featuring the material and design details White Mountaineering is known for, executed pretty much perfectly in the women’s wear context. I’m not super familiar with the past seasons of the line so I can’t provide much context there, but I’m loving the super clean styling compositions of this lookbook… yet another women’s collection to keep up on, more after the jump.

The full run of a collection we previewed all the way back here, Bedwin & The Heartbreakers looks as solid as ever for s/s 2012, with a few key styles and the welcome inclusion of some fire women’s looks. Yes, it’s a s/s collection, yes there’s some hats that we can’t agree with, and yes casual tie usage isn’t really our thing, but all in all the super clean color-blocked collection is bang-on, from fits to styling to palate.
