.efiLevol Spring/Summer 2012

.efiLevol is a Japanese label founded back in 2006, ‘focusing on the love to which all human beings belong, without conforming to preconceived ideas of what defines genre.’ Producing collections for both men and women, this s/s ’12 lookbook contains some rad styling, especially on the girl’s side. Actually, the women’s looks are out of control: can I see more of this on the streets of Vancouver please? Keep reading for the rest of the lookbook.

Schott Spring/Summer 2012 Looks

Still designed and manufactured in NYC, here is a series of looks from Schott‘s s/s 2012 collection. In their words,

‘This season Schott have once again delved deep into their archives inspired to re-introduce the cult 1950’s look of the Teddy Boy. Mixing this with East London’s current 90’s trend has created a whole new landmark look in the brands prestigious timeline.’

Still need me a Perfecto. These looks are very Tumblr-ready, but I’m digging all the pieces taken individually… keep reading for more looks.

Cyderhouse Autumn/Winter 2011

Designer Yuji Okamoto’s Cyderhouse has released this lookbook for their a/w 2011 collection entitled Marman, with some serious sea monster overtones going on. I don’t really know much about the label, but I’m definitely feeling this presentation and the leathers, which seem to be a Cyderhouse specialty. Cool to see something with a bit of concept, click through for the rest of the lookbook.

Carhartt WIP Women Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Carhartt’s WIP label has become a serious favourite around here as of late, especially this season’s mens collection, featured back here. Today I came across the women’s f/w lookbook, shot by French photag Stéphanie Solinas, and it’s just as impressive as anything from the men’s run; from the shot compositions to the pieces, everything is as it should be, and as you would expect from Carhartt EU. It’s also been a while since we’ve featured some women’s styling, and what better line to bring it back with… more after the jump.

45rpm Winter 2011 Lookbook

Here’s a selection of shots from the winter ’11 lookbook by 45rpm. We featured the fall presentation a couple weeks ago, and this expansive lookbook by the label is just as impressive, beautifully captured outdoors in a far flung pastoral setting. And while I’m only posting my favourite men’s looks, there’s 100+ pics to sort through, with the woman’s line as amazing as always.. check the full lookbook here, and more choice shots after the jump (thanks to Inventory for the tip).

45rpm Fall 2011 Lookbook

One of our favourite lines in terms of presentation and composition, 45rpm is back with this fall ’11 lookbook, displaying the vast seasonal collection from the Japanese label. Perhaps a bit dressier than we’re feeling these days, there’s still a lot of amazing pieces to be taken on their own, especially the jeans, loving the distressing and cuts. I also really appreciate the model choice for this lookbook, really gives a friendly vibe (e.g. no stone face adonis dudes). As per usual the women’s collection is super on point as well, make sure to visit their site and check that out… and click through for the entire men’s presentation.

EDWIN Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

EDWIN is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and for any label that is no small feat. The line has a rich history in the denim industry getting its start back in 1947 as a military surplus store in Japan, then in 1961 Mr.Tsunemi (the label founder) changing the name to EDWIN. He saw a great opportunity in the power of denim culture in Japan after his studies in California. He started by importing used 5-pocket denim from the states and quickly became the reconditioned second hand denim specialist. Fast forward 50 years and here is the lookbook for the fall/winter 2011 season, keep reading for the rest…

Engineered Garments FWK Fall/Winter 2011

We gave you a preview of the men’s Engineered Garments collection  a few weeks ago, now here is a little something for the ladies with the FWK line by Engineered Garments. There are multiple crossover styles from the mens to womens collections seen, but done in a more feminine fashion. My favourite looks are the ones seen above, but they are all interesting none the less. A funny note is that it looks like they used the same footwear for the women’s lookbook as the men’s, because these cute little ladies look like they have some big ol’ feet. Anyways more looks after the jump…
