FUCT SSDD Fall/Winter 2011

Erik Brunetti’s FUCT SSDD label has revealed the first look at their f/w 2011 run, showing us why when you’re the originator, things seem to hold a certain weight of authenticity. I know I recently bemoaned the model-against-a-white-wall treatment, but this lookbook is so well composed, utilizing different focal points to showcase the product. Feeling the camo quilted California coat and the paisley-lined leather biker jacket, this collection is all aces… keep reading for more.

Margaret Howell x Porter Fall/Winter 2011 Bags

Two favourites around here, Margaret Howell and Porter have teamed up to produce these two classic style bags, a Day Pack and a smaller Shoulder Bag. These two labels are know for their simple designs so it is no surprise the collection is as clean as you get. The two bags are done with a canvas upper and leather bottom. The Day Pack is about as classic as it comes and the Shoulder Bag looks like it would be very functional, great for your bicycle or motorbike. Keep reading for more pics…

NEXUSVII Fall/Winter 2011

Here is the first look at the f/w 2011 collection from Japan’s NEXUSVII, one of our favorite lines from the Land of the Rising Sun. On some grown man business, the line never fails to deliver fashion-conscious basics pieces that will stand the test of time. This run goes in on the Gore-Tex and denim, with a good selection of outerwear in the mix as well. Can’t wait to see what else the NEXUS7vn rolls out for this collection, more after the jump.

McQ Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

The offshoot line of Alexander McQueen, McQ offers a look at their upcoming collection for the spring/summer 2012 season, which takes inspiration from punk/rockabilly and greaser stylings from the 50′s and 60′s. I really like this overall style and trust the McQueen designers to hone in on it so well. I am a bigĀ  fan of the distressed denim, leather jacket and blazers from the collection. Above are a few of my favourite looks, McQueen’s legacy lives on strong…

Alife Summer 2011

Alife follows up their spring ’11 collection with this further run of American sportswear, keeping the street styles clean with the usual touch of irreverence that the NYC crew puts to cotton. Feeling the cuts and combos here, grown man streetwear for the downtown set. Alife was one of the first trill sneakers I ever bought with my own cash, so my loyalties have been set for over a decade now… more pics after the jump.

4 Stroke Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook

New York City-based 4 Stroke presents this denim collection for the f/w 2011 season, with five different jean styles all rooted in the company’s 118 year history of domestic manufacturing. Using US, Italian, and Japanese selvedge, the jeans are then constructed in a Sioux City, Iowa factory, which also produces denim for brands such as Polo RL and Harley Davidson. I’m feeling the simplicity of designer Tobias Levine’s cuts and washes, and the presentation of this lookbook, with white tees, Chucks, bandanas, and motorbikes. Click to expand the images to full size, check the complete lookbook after the jump.

Maiden Noir ‘Battlefield’ Collection S/S 2011

Seattle based Maiden Noir has released their newest collection titled Battlefield for the spring/summer 2011 season. The collection takes its influence from navy and military stylings, with a great selection of summer goods. I really like the two-tone short, the field jacket, and of course the accessories which I always like from the label. Available @ Haven.
