Engineered Garments Fall/Winter 2013

Damn, Daiki came through with the crack here. Next level work as usual from EG, as f/w is always their strongest season by far. I am really messing with the long shirt / tunic looks and the different coloured shoes, fire… the styling is bang on all the way through this lookbook. That said, I don’t/wouldn’t/couldn’t rock the full looks, but individual EG pieces are best utilized in conjunction with more chilled attire from your personal trove.

A Vontade Spring/Summer 2013

A Vontade is a new label on my radar but shares a common thread with most of the brands we tend to feature here, American influence and Japanese manufacturing. The brand combines vintage American military, workwear and sportswear styles and updates them with modern cuts and details, all made in Japan. The looks seen here can easily be compared to the likes of Engineered Garments, WWM, Nonnative, etc. solid looks seen all around.

Stoked to see this pop up on the radar, Victim has released this lookbook for their current spring/summer 2013 collection. A continuation from what we have seen previously from the brand, although lightened up a bit for the spring/summer months. Some solid looks seen throughout, although I am more drawn towards the more casual/athletic looks they are all good for what they are.

Biltwell – Gringo Full Face Helmet

So as you are probably all aware if you are a regular here both of the 84/85 boys are heavy into motorcycles, with no real discrimination; old Japanese bikes, British bikes, dual sports, dirtbikes, Harleys, choppers, etc, we really love ‘em all. So if your gonna ride in this day and age your gonna need a helmet (its not 1972 and we don’t live in Colorado or Iowa) and damn right it has to look good as well as protect the melon. Insert Biltwell, the motorcycle parts and accessories company has been turning out a steady pace of amazing products. Their most recent being the ‘Gringo’ full face DOT approved helmet. This beauty features a classic 70′s tracker styling with no BS and high quality construction and materials.
