So Ransom is back, and what better way to re-enter the market than with this pure fire collection and accompanying lookbook, which is equally on point. Seriously though, we’ve missed Ransom, holding it down for Canadian streetwear in a big way. The entire line is now produced in the USA so no more janky sewing and a more accurate pricepoint, and this collection looks so hype top to bottom. Yeah, it’s camo, plaid, and basics, but it’s done right and it’s from TO, so we’re biased. This lookbook is the clincher, great model choice and look composition. Humor is a line we’ve been following for a bit, with the Danish label consistently producing interesting collections season after season. In their words, the line is ‘Scandinavian hippy knitwear meets Shibuya-streetstyle meets cyberfashion,’ a bold statement but strong concept. Japanese label Push Connection have just released their newest collaboration with Masterpiece for their spring/summer 2012 collection. They have done two styles; one backpack in a classic outdoors/mountaineer flap top style, and a waist or over the shoulder bag. Both styles are done in a heavy nylon outer with suede leather trim details. I am a big fan of the colorways and the classic look, and seeing as they are made by Mastermind you know they are top notch quality.

Here’s a look at Needles s/s 2012 collection, straight from Nepenthes. In line with recent looks from EG and 45rpm, expect loose cuts, wrinkled linen galore, and a quality selection of knits. Styling (as always) is on the more adventurous side of things, another collection where I think we appreciate the idea of more than the reality… keep reading for my choice lookbook shots.

Really feeling the model/styling combo, girls in dudewear is generally never a bad look, especially with that coy androgynous thing going on. Straightforward superclean lookbook from Deluxe for s/s 2012, entitled Sugar & Rum, mixing a striped-back 50′s aesthetic with modern streetwear fits. Some really standout looks here, namely the top left shot, with everything really wearable for the dapper urban chap who may not mind getting made fun of a little bit behind his back by likely jealous male counterparts. jacked the pics from Hypebeast

A little late to be posting a f/w collection, but hey, it’s more cold/wet/snowy/miserable here on the westcoast than we’ve seen yet, so the vibe is right. Similar to the Wild Things collection Brendan posted a while back, this run of super outdoorsy, pre-2000′s SoCal-inspired outerwear from Rulezpeeps really caught my interest, mostly for the relaxed styling and the patchwork pieces. We previously gave you a small teaser of the Norse Projects spring/summer 2012 collection, here is a look at the entire lookbook, both studio and outakes. The line was shot by Alana Paterson and styled by Mila Franovich (you will be hearing those two names a lot in 2012).  I dig the styling and the locations for the shoot, especially the outdoor track. As far as the collection goes some solid looks seen, with clean and classic designs and nice fits. I need to get my hands on some Norse Projects pieces, one of my favorite lines and I don’t have one piece from them. Full shoot after the break.

.efiLevol is a Japanese label founded back in 2006, ‘focusing on the love to which all human beings belong, without conforming to preconceived ideas of what defines genre.’ Producing collections for both men and women, this s/s ’12 lookbook contains some rad styling, especially on the girl’s side.
