Supreme x Adam Kimmel Fall 2011

Little collab between two of our favourites, Supreme and Adam Kimmel on a corduroy suit. From ‘preme,  ’The suit is understated, well crafted and made from Italian cotton corduroy. It features an unlined two button suit jacket & custom fit pant.’ A good look for your winter wardrobe.

Adam Kimmel x Carhartt F/W 2011 by Roden Gray

Fall/winter 2011 marks the first season Vancouver’s Roden Gray will be carrying the Adam Kimmel x Carhartt collection, and it is also their first foray in to video content. This short film showcases the collaboration in a few different contexts, all set against the gorgeous backdrop of the city (the weather the last few weeks has been incredible). Shot by my pal Peter Hagge, this vid really delivers, hope to see more like this from the Roden team.

Adam Kimmel Hiking Boot

Adam Kimmel’s fall/winter 2011 collection is starting to pop up at retailers worldwide. Tres Bien have received a few pieces from the collection, and one of my favorites is the Hiking Boot in black with a rugger leather outer, soft leather inner, hiker laceing and Vibram sole. Kimmel’s collection for this season is collectively one of our favorites by any designer, Northwest motorcycle dirtbag look  goes over well with the 8485 boys.

Adam Kimmel Spring/Summer 2012

One of our favorite menswear designers over the past few years, Adam Kimmel has debuted his spring/summer 2012 collection at Paris Fashion week. This collection marks Kimmel’s first full blown runway show. This season the designer takes his influences from Surf/Rock & Roll stylings. Stand out pices are the jumpsuits, which is now a staple for Kimmel, nice light deconstructed blazers, and some great looking outerwear. Another impressive collection from Adam Kimmel, and while a little less dirtbag than his previous collection, still fantastic nonetheless. Full looks after the jump.

Pitti: Adam Kimmel x Carhartt S/S 2012 Preview

Since we were too busy ducking hockey rioters to attend Pitti, we have to thank HighSnob for this preview of one of favorite ongoing collaborations, Adam Kimmel x Carhartt for spring/summer 2012. Ultra-staple basics pieces define this line, with the blue Carhartt logo flip hypnotically drawing me in… out of all the various collaborations the American workwear label has dabbled in as of late, this one is definitely my favourite. Click through for more shots from the Pitti presentation.

Adam Kimmel x Carhartt Capsule Collection

Seen widely across the net, we’d be remiss not to repost this excellent collaboration between two of our absolute favorite lines, the original American workwear specialists of Carhartt and the neauvo-masculine US menswear designer Adam Kimmel. Could there be a better team to speak to our aesthetic sensibilities? Probably not; this bang-on run of sweatshirts, flannels, overshirts, rugged trousers, denim, and the signature Carhartt toque (with the signature logo flipped to blue, amazing) is exactly the kind of collection that gives me faith in crossover collaborations, with viable products, not just pics for the internet hype machine. Oh, and the only promo shot is a dude on a motorbike. It just works. Hit the jump for a look at all the individual pieces from Carhartt x Adam Kimmel.

Adam Kimmel Fall/Winter 2011

Oh goodness. Adam Kimmel‘s f/w 2011 collection, shown in Paris yesterday, is a full-blown show stopper. Maybe the best American menswear designer going, he cites time spent in our Pacific Northwest as inspiration for this line, based around the notion of ‘backwoods motorcycle punk’ (an aethetic Brendan and I can both definitely appreciate). The collection is styled immaculately, never looking like there was too much thought, with pieces that shouldn’t go together fitting in perfectly.  Boots, denim, jumpsuits, you name it, Kimmel destroys it… count this as my pick of the f/w 11 shows thus far for sure… click through for more.

Adam Kimmel Spring 2011

Adam Kimmel has really been on his A game for the last few season, especially after his previous collection which was well received. His recent showing of his Spring 2011 collection moved its inspiration from gambling to who else but Snoop Dogg. The Designer took huge cues from Snoops dressing styles including an Italian cashmere football jersey,  satin bomber jackets, and the use of bandana style prints on cuffs, collars and liners of jackets. Other notable pieces include his signature jumpsuit and reversable jackets that turn from casual blazer to tuxedo. The collection has an overall feel of classy gangster, which could easily have been done all wrong but Kimmel makes this one a straight hit with everything from the presentation to the execution. Keep reading for the full preview…
