The line offers a vast selection of pants and wool items for the season but it is the vintage inspired graphic t-shirts and sweatshirts that are the hit for me: ‘Wetman,’ ‘New Rich Mouse’ and the ‘McCane’ prints are pure gold. Here is is a look at Tokyo-based label Naissance and their offering for the current autumn/winter 2012 season. The collection is made up of some great looking classics, all well styled in the lookbook. Nothing over the top here, just some solid looks for the wintertime.

n(n) BY NUMBER (N)INE has released this lookbook for the autumn/winter 2012 collection. We were stoked to see Takahiro Miyashita’s main label Number (N)ine pop back up on the radar this season with this little lookbook posted previously. This collection for his offshoot n(n) BY NUMBER (N)INE label for the a/w ’12 season is straight up fire, with some wearable looks no matter what your comfort level is. Really digging the shorts over pants styles as well as the fall short looks, so good. Read through for the rest.

Over the last few seasons it has been really rad watching the progression of designer Austin Sherbanenko and his Odyn Vovk label. The last few collections have been more and more day to day wearable, still keeping with the overall dark feeling to it. This lookbook for the autumn/winter 2012 collection is probably my favorite of the season so far, all Norweigan Black Metal.

Japanese basics label FilMelange has put out this super cool new lookbook for their autumn/winter 2012. The brand makes high quality garments with all their fabrics being developed and manufactured in house. They use organic wools and cashmere and manufacture their cotton t-shirts with loop wheel machines. I really like the presentation of this a/w ’12 collection, all in black and white with multiple angles and views of each look.

BiceSter is another one of those Japanese lines I can’t really tell you too much about, but I am liking what I see here with their a/w 2012/13 collection. Nice looking workwear-inspired styles seen throughout. One thing of note in this collection is the use of purples, this is something I am really noticing with a bunch of Japanese labels as of late, calling a come back for purple over the next while (I might add that I don’t like purple). Here is a look at the newest offering for the autumn/winter 2012 season from Gypsy & Sons. I like the vibe of this collection, it has a real vintage worn-in look to it with washed out colours and fabrics mixed with some vintage looking prints and patterns. A good mix of casual and dressy styles, I am more into the casual side of things but I dig the dressy looks for what they are. Read through for the rest.

Big John jeans have become a real favourite for me over the last few seasons. The brand has a real history in the workwear game and it comes through in their collections. The autumn/winter 2012 season collection is titled Hunting Game with an overall outdoors vibe going down. Makes me want hit the woods with the boys and shoot some sh*t.
