New heat from Dearborn’s finest, here is the s/s 2013 collection from Carhartt Heritage. Paying more reverence to a century of workwear designs than WIP this label always comes correct, there was a streak of yellow throughout this season that I’ve omitted but other than that, heat, especially the deep maroon and Navajo hits.
London’s Goodhood Shop will be carrying select pieces from the Carhartt Heritage range for the f/w 2011 season. To celebrate this they have produced a small lookbook to coincide with the release. The collection will be available on Sept. 20th at the shop, where they will also be throwing a launch party at which Carhartt will be showcasing their back catalog of heritage pieces. Its no secret we love (and always have loved) Carhartt and I am a big fan of how the Goodhood shop does their thing, a great venture for both parties.
Carhartt are true originals in the workwear dept. of menswear, and as pioneers of this style and movement it only makes sense that they cater to the heritage brand and workwear revival. They have produced this great looking ‘Carhartt Heritage’ collection that takes inspiration from their archives, with reproductions of original graphics, vintage materials and special washes and dyes being used throughout the collection. Another key point of interest is the introduction of selvedge duck canvas being used on the pants, giving them superior quality and unique character with wear. Carhartt reminds us that they were pioneers in this heritage brand movement are not to be forgotten about. Keep reading for a look at the full collection…
