Here are two short previews of the men’s and women’s s/s 2013 collections from a label that always gets it right, Carhartt WIP. Feeling the colour treatments in these vids and the sneak peak at some of the pieces, seems like the line will be carrying forward with the same styles that have made them indispensable over the past couple years, which is a good thing for sure.

84/85 favourite label Carhartt WIP has just released this fall/winter 2012 lookbook, front to back goodness from the streetwear rulers. Every piece is gold as per usual, from new originals to WIP takes on Carhartt classics. The women’s collection is 100 as well and we’ll get that up shortly.. more men’s after the jump.

What to say here other than ‘damn’… Carhartt WIP is on a roll in the women’s streetwear game with their flipped men’s pieces and specific girl’s cuts, from short dresses through to oxfords and varsity jackets. We were big fans of their f/w ’11 collection and this is a great followup, from the model choices to the styling, really showcasing the breadth of the season… keep reading for my choice picks from the lookbook.

Top sk8 vid to celebrate the Carhartt WIP and 5BORO NYC collaboration. Such amazing footage from Detroit and numerous NYC boroughs, and the pieces are tastefully featured in between high-speed street skating from 5BORO team members… soundtrack kills too, all good things.

Here’s a whole grip of looks from Carhartt WIP for s/s 2012, a great follow up to one of our favourite collections from last year, their f/w ’11 run. Understated wholly wearable street ish, Carhartt keeps killing it with any and all offshoots and collaborations. Still only available in NA at the NYC flagship store, the line should definitely make larger inroads in to this market, as I can’t see anything but successful for a line this solid and complete.
