It saddens me to say that the talented artist Dash Snow has recently passed on. The terrible news has been circulating around the net today that Snow has died last night of a heroin overdose at the age of 27. We had featured a great photoshoot with Snow a little while ago as well as some of his Polaroid work on Tinyvices. This really is a shame and a great loss as he was a talented artist who has been making moves in the right direction as of late. Snow lived a self imposed hard life, growing up in the downtown New York scene, writing graffiti, going in and out of jail, doing drugs and running from the law for years, he lived a troubled life but this is the life he chose for himself. It is a shame that he had to go so soon but he will live on through his artwork and his ‘Sace’ tags throughout New York city and abroad. He leaves behind a daughter and a legacy which he created for himself, inspiring a new generation of young artists along the way.
