Humor Spring/Summer 2012

Humor is a line we’ve been following for a bit, with the Danish label consistently producing interesting collections season after season. In their words, the line is ‘Scandinavian hippy knitwear meets Shibuya-streetstyle meets cyberfashion,’ a bold statement but strong concept. Here’s a quick look at their s/s 2012 collection, a nautical vibe with a few solid knit pieces, click through for a bit more.

Humor Autumn/Winter 2011 Preview

Here is a preview of the forthcoming f/w 2011 collection from Danish label Humor, flipping the current workwear trends in menswear in a characteristically Scandinavian manner, with patchwork color combos and subtle detailing.  Feeling the acid wash denim featured above, and the navy knit after the jump, both key pieces with a long lifespan. These shots lay the table for a full rollout come fall, keep reading for more.

A Closer Look: Henrik Vibskov F/W 2010

Blogged about mostly via his acid-fueled future-man runway shows, Danish designer Henrik Vibskov has produced some of the most visual engaging collections in recent memory. And while the presentation aspect of Vibskov’s eponymous label may be the dominant theme of his press, the current seasonal collection looks amazing as well, seen here in hi-res from his online store. The line appears very high-fashion when styled top-to-bottom, but if you took these pieces individually there’s some completely wearable looks that could fit in with most savvy guys daily wardrobe. I’m loving the abstract 80′s-tinged knits and bags, and the pleated wool pants look like an amazing fit… not to mention the kilt or jumpsuit… hit the jump to see more of my choice selections from the Henrik Vibskov f/w 10 collection.

Won Hundred Autumn/Winter 2010 Lookbook

Danish label Won Hundred‘s autumn/winter 2010 lookbook landed in our inbox today. In their words, the collection is ‘inspired by the straight lines and hard shapes from cubist art, combined with the soft and natural influences from collage art of the same era. Materials like wood, paper and all sorts of found objects are glued and taped together. While black, grey and white are key, this seasons colours range from spice brown to a dark duffel bag green accented by a washed out aubergine and muted jade green.’ I really dig the presentation, artistic yet approachable. Also, Won Hundred will apparently expand their denim and shoe collections for fall, which have always been the line’s strong points. keep reading to view the entire lookbook (and click to expand all images).

Won Hundred Spring/Summer 2010

Danish line Won Hundred has just released imagery for their spring/summer 2010 collection, entitled Dressing In Memories, and the line gives men yet another classic option for dressing come the warmer months. Continuing with the current trend of simplicity and clean fits (but not skinny), the line is supposedly inspired by 70′s Harlem, even though the looks are a reference to a solid couple of decades in menswear with khaki, denim, light cottons and chambray as the focal points. Won Hundred is a line that lacks a huge presence in the North American market, but hopefully they can continue to make inroads as the looks and prices are usually pretty reliable. Keep reading for a few more preview pics.
