Damn, Daiki came through with the crack here. Next level work as usual from EG, as f/w is always their strongest season by far. I am really messing with the long shirt / tunic looks and the different coloured shoes, fire… the styling is bang on all the way through this lookbook. That said, I don’t/wouldn’t/couldn’t rock the full looks, but individual EG pieces are best utilized in conjunction with more chilled attire from your personal trove.

With shops doing all they can to separate themselves from the herd we are starting to see all types of new features, editorials and lookbooks shot by the stores themselves. These days I am starting to like shop lookbooks better than the brands own: on that note here is a little series shot by End featuring the spring/summer 2013 Engineered Garments collection. When it comes to women’s fashion the 8485 boys don’t know much but what we do know is when the FWK by Engineered Garments line pops up its time to get our #womenswear game on. Always impressive, the FWK line harnesses the overall aesthetic of the mens EG line but feminizes it with the cuts and styles. I really like the light parkas, specifically the ones in the single colour image above.

Hard livin for a blauger this time of year: not a lot of collections being released, and churning over such eternal questions as ‘to year-end list or to not year-end list?’ (advance disclaimer: feeling a little lazy this year). All that said here’s the s/s 2013 lookbook from Engineered Garments, the usual warm weather garden wedding swag from the JP/NYC label. Engineered Garments is still one of our favourite brands at it today so we couldn’t let this one slide; here is a look at their fall/winter 2012 collection. The lookbook is shot in black and white with a magazine/editorial feel to it. Really feeling the layering and mix of patterns and extreme attention to detail. Another ultra impressive collection from Daiki Suzuki and the EG team, read through for the rest of the looks.

We can’t not post an EG lookbook: we’ve been following the line for so long, and it’s an absolute staple of both of our wardrobes. Spring/summer is often not kind to many labels, and EG is definitely one from whom we prefer their f/w offerings; that said, if you want to murder game at that garden wedding next summer, get kitted in a jacket/short combo from this collection, bam, bridesmaids will be flocking. Great lookbook here with the usual older gentlemen models, also really like the family shots, nice touch… keep reading for the full spread, click images for full size.

With the Engineered Garments fall/winter 2011 collection starting to show up at select locations we are already seeing a few favorites. I am really liking the look of these Miner shirts, seen here in chambray and cotton flannel. They are a great alternative to the EG Workshirts which are always a hit from the label. The Miner shirt is available now at South2 West8 and I am sure a handful of other retailers in the near future…
