New goods from FUCT delivered to the Beasts, shot in-house for their online store. Pieces are dope and you know we feel the American Waste run, it’s all #8BallWorld ’round these parts. Only thing I’d say here is that it’s pretty transparent when HB throws a causal skateboard in the mix and gets the model to light a smoke… but hey, I’m a cynic.

NYC label Feltraiger just gave the Beast a look at their current f/w 12/13 collection entitled ‘Garage Rat,’ a solid blend of straight-ahead menswear and more motorcycle/mechanic styles. Not too much to overanalyze here, just 5 good looks from a quality brand.

Damn cold times on the coast right now so a 2012/13 winter collection seems quite appropriate (I won’t be able to even consider madras for at least 2 months, and linen, never). Anyway this collection by 02DERIV. is real dope, high street looks for your every day. Really feeling the styling here, sharp/wearable/realistic, and perhaps lookbook shots of dudes taking a #2 might be a new trend.

Yes, it’s a little late in the season to be posting f/w 2012 collections, but damn if the styling in this set of looks from 08sircus doesn’t warrant recognition. These days we seem to be more vocal about lines we consider to be ‘too menswear-y’ or ‘too fashion-y’ as we tend to keep it more simple/functional/technical, but I’ve got nuff respect for these wild-out looks: texture, pattern, colour, the styling here is on point and unrepentant, and comes together hella tough. The game could use more of this and less of… well, most things.

Owner Operator is a NYC-based label making technical apparel for cold weather adventures, likely in the mountains. All their outerwear is made in NYC, with other pieces from the collection being produced throughout the USA as well. Classic (understated) styling across the board here, and the packs and hats are especially great: get me that waxed cotton cap and we’re hella cool. Definitely a brand to watch, and everything is available for purchase online.

Cadence Fall/Winter 2012/13

Dustin Klein’s Cadence Collection has just release its f/w 2013 drop entitled Numb, a tight run of caps, tech sweats, a jacket and a tee. Not one for cycling caps myself (at all, ever) but I could potentially mess with that polka dot joint under the helmet. Hoodie second from the bottom is also fire, as expected from the SF-based brand. Available online now.
