Bit late for a f/w 2013 collection but hey it’s gonna be freezing cold for another couple months and I don’t really wanna see lookbooks involving shorts yet anyway. Fill the Bill has been one of our favourite labels the past few seasons and this presentation rules it, understated and definitely modern men’s Japanese styling throughout (and great photography).
Japanese label Standard California is one that I have really become fond of over the last while, with their great takes on vintage California stylings and aesthetics. Here is a look at their Fall/Winter 2013 collection in entirety, it is a rather expansive range that covers a lot of ground. There is a hell of a lot of goodness in here; from outerwear, knitwear to glasses and a vans collaboration this collection doesn’t leave too much to be desired, just great looking retro inspired heat.
Here is the latest from japanese label A Vontade for the fall/winter 2013 season. the collection features a good combination of work, outdoors, casual and slightly dressier looks but all done in a bit more of an understated style. Really digging the work and heritage outdoors styles, but all in all a great mix.
Here is a look at a great new lookbook from Japanese outdoors brand Rulezpeeps featuring items from their fall/winter 2013 collection. The lookbook is titled ‘Winter Road Trip’ and features some cold weather surf trip action. It reminds me of my first time surf experience here on Van Isle, it was a cold Decmember day with snow on the ground and the swell was pumping. This collection has some real stand outs for the whole fam, with mens women’s and baby gear these guys are sure to have you covered.
Understated and elegant lookbook from Trophy Clothing for the f/w 2013 season. The Japanese label does the timeless garage aesthetic at a high level, and always delivers when it’s time for visuals.
SF label Endless Ammo is back with a full run of new items for f/w 2013, purpose built goods for that get out and do it lifestyle. I really like what the brand represents, especially their ongoing collaborations with the Macaframa crew. Next time I’m down in the Bay gonna have to cop a few pieces for sure… and click though for more of the catalog-style lookbook.
Here is a look at the latest and greatest venture from the good folks at Topo Designs, OYO Mountain Products. This is their new offshoot line of outdoors inspired products, while similar to Topo in the fact that it takes inspiration from classic and functional outdoors products as well as being all made in the USA it differs in that it is not just bags. This range for the fall/winter 2013 season includes, 2 styles of pack, 2 styles of headwear, a climbing jacket in collab with Trainerspotter, 2 tees, watch straps and a few other accessories. Although I am not normally a very colourful dresser I really like the usage of bright and bold colours through out the range, really gives it a throwback camp feel.
