Part 2 of the MC roadtrip we featured back here, Edwin and Kingdom of Kicks still making it look amazing.
Riding personally customised bikes with a couple of old tents thrown in, no map, a healthy dose of rain, old skateboards and knackered out surf boards, Nico’s famous catapult, and eyes for mischief and adventure, the marauding members of the ‘FURTHER’ crew celebrate the best of times putting their product to the test.
Here is a look at a relatively new shirting label, Sidian, Ersatz & Vanes with their spring/summer 2011 collection. The French label was started by three friends with the idea of making basic menswear pieces, specifically mens shirts. Their range for spring/summer 2011 features geometric shapes, unique patterns and specific color blocking throughout the collection. Keep reading for the full range for spring/summer 2011…
Bleu de Paname is a line that is fairly new to the market, but with their aesthetic as a ‘heritage’ style workwear brand I guess you could say they are a new old brand. That being said, I am quite a fan of their offerings to date, and their fall/winter 2009 collection is another great showing. The line is also designed and produced in France, keeping with the heritage brand mentality and concept. Their F/W 2009 collection is chalk full of denim pieces, with jeans done in 16.5 oz selvedge and great looking shirting. The other highlights of the collection are the jackets, including the moleskin parka, utilitarian style jacket, and the varsity. This could definitely be my favorite new line of the last few seasons. here’s the latest video effort from the Valerie, the French collective who have been weaving beautiful melodies and 80′s dreams for the last few years. ‘She Never Came Back’ comes off College‘s album ‘Secret Diary,’ which has been getting tons of play both at work and at home for months now.. a worthwhile purchase in 320 from Beatport. and while the video itself isn’t really that impressive, it fits in really well with the whole Valerie aesthetic of a highly stylized past re-imagined for the present.
