It has definitely been TOO long since the last installment of ‘Lifelike Sundays,’ and to rectify this obvious oversight, we’re back with the smoothest vocal house anthem that Mr. Heinrich may have ever produced. This track makes me want to lay in the sunniest field, swim in the bluest ocean, and dance in a club so awesome it couldn’t possibly exist. Yay for summer!

(flickr)another vocal anthem for your spring/summer activities, this remix has one of my favorite arp’d synth lines out of the Lifelike discography, plus a feeling that can fit most moods, happy to sad. The weather remains strange here in MTL, unsure of itself.. hot and humid then cold and windy, sun and grey. Work is draining, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.. could use a steady internet connection at home though. hope all is well wherever you all are.
this remix comes in on a bit of a darker note, with more introspection and less of the happy dance from Mr. Heinrich. I personally would close my eyes and put my hands in the air on a dancefloor to this tune, but most would prefer the headphone treatment.. either way, it goes to show the variety of sound that Lifelike can flex in his production. enjoy.
this was one of the first Likelike songs that I truly fell in love with, and I’ve played this one out DJing many a time.. plus it ranks quite high in my iTunes top 25. good for cheering yourself up on a grey day, strutting in the sun, filling a dancefloor, or bumping in the car, this is the kind of versatile house jam that makes Lifelike the extra-special producer he is.

this is definitely one of the best Lifelike jams I’ve stumbled across to date.. a bouncy funk bassline, nouveau french disco accents, and vox that sounds like it was always meant to have the honor of being part of a Lifelike remix. a must for your summer playlists.

there are about three Van She versions of this song and a handful of remixes.. strangely enough, I like them all. truly one of the most beautiful songs of the last few years, Lifelike doesn’t stray too far from the original here, just smoothes out the synths and solidifies the kick.. another summer anthem.
