Levi’s for Opening Ceremony Spring/Summer 2011

Opening Ceremony has teamed up with classic American jeans company Levi’s for their third consecutive season with this spring/summer 2011 collection. This season they looked back in to the Levi’s archives and pulled out a few classics, such as the trucker jacket and the 505 jean and brightened them up for spring. I really like the Popover jackets and the three styles of 505 jeans. You can always trust Opening Ceremony to have some fun and play around with classics, giving them a youthful modern twist. Dana Lee S/S 2010 @ Opening Ceremony

I can honestly say that my favorite designer right now would have to be Dana Lee. Her takes on classic menswear are just done so incredibly well. The current spring/summer 2010 collection is exclusively available @ Opening Ceremony. I love the pieces seen so far, with three styles of button down chambray shirts, three styles of tee shirts, a pair of double-chambray jeans and finally my favorite piece of the lot, the double-chambray jean jacket with leather sleeves. I think that having the line exclusively available OC was a good move for both parties, giving Dana Lee some great exposure and Opening Ceremony the exclusive on one of the top new menswear labels. Keep reading for a full preview, and go to OC to grab yourself one of these amazing looking pieces.

Levi’s x Opening Ceremony Cords Collection

Opening Ceremony is at it again, this time colaborating with Levi’s for this cordorouy collection for spring. The collection features three classic Levi’s styles; the Trucker jacket, a button down, and the 505 model slimmed down in a pant, short and cut-off. I personally have always been a big fan of cords, they are that classic ‘grandpa’ style that you just gotta love. This collection (all made in the U.S.A.) is done in a spring color palette of Teal, Fuchsia, Lavender, Olive, Currey and more. This cord colab will be available at levi.com on Feb.15th. Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2010

As we are heading into the spring/summer season in fashion it is now time to look ahead to the previews of the next season to come,  fall/winter 2010. So with that being said here is a look at the f/w 2010 collection from Opening Ceremony. The collection is full of classic pieces and wearable looks, done in a toned down palette. I love the casual suiting looks and the slim tapered cargo pants (this is the year of the cargo comeback). This is such a great looking collection in full,  with understated style that is completely wearable in most circles. Keep reading for a view of my favourite looks for next fall/winter from OC…

Opening Ceremony x Pendleton

opening-ceremony-pendeltonOpening Ceremony has recently revealed there upcoming collaboration with American heritage brand Pendleton. As mentioned before I live in A.P.C. denim and I also live in Pendleton flannels so this thoughtful collaboration is right up my alley. The line consists of 23 updated styles of classic pendleton pieces such as patchwork flannels and blazers for men and Navajo blanket bell skirts for women. The line will not be available till August but will be a hot look for the end of summer time…
