I was very happy to see this little gem pop up on the radar today, Our Legacy have released their newest lookbook for the spring/summer 2013 season. The new collection entitled Smile is full of what Our Legacy is known for, well made wearable, classic styles for the modern fellow. I like the direction that these last few collections have been moving in, a bit more toned down #menswear. Love the styling of the looks and the manner in which it is shot, very nondescript.

Our Legacy ‘Splash’ Collection 2012

Our Legacy are always up to something, this time around its a mid-season lookbook and collection entitled Splash. These guys can do no wrong in my books, always quality product and on point presentation. Here are a few shots from the lookbook with the collection set to release early May.

Our Legacy ‘Impressions’ Autumn/Winter 2011 Lookbook

The boys over at Our Legacy have put out their lookbook for the autumn/winter 2011 season, entitled Impressions. The collection itself is super classic, wearable as well as versatile. The looks range from light grey wool suits to some next levels, like white cutoffs with leggings and Jordan 5′s. As I mentioned before I am liking the OL approach to presentation, making all their shoots have a real casual feel. Keep reading through for the rest of the looks…

Our Legacy Ball Caps Autumn/Winter 2011

Our Legacy have teamed up with Ebbets Field Flannels to make these three styles of Ball Caps for the fall/winter 2011 season. These caps are all made in the U.S.A. (as all Ebbets Field Flannels products are) and come in three different styles, each in a different colour. I am also a fan of Our Legacy’s new style of product shots, these done with this happy hound who particularly liked the grey one. Head over (pun intended) to the OL online shop and grab your favourite, but don’t let your dog get their paws on it or it may end up like this

Our Legacy ‘Our Jeans’ Spring/Summer 2011

Our Legacy is a line that I can’t get enough of: that’s not saying that I actually own a lot of pieces from the label, but what I do own I really like. I have a  pair of their washed out jeans and they are easily one of my favorite (and I own a lot of denim). Here is a look at their ‘Our Jeans’ range for the spring/summer 2011 season. There are four styles; mid wash, washed selvedge, rinsed selvedge and raw blue selvedge. I would like to add a pair of the rinsed selvedge to an overflowing jean arsenal…

Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2011

Tres Bien has just received their first run of the Our Legacy spring/summer 2011 ‘Observations’ collection. The pieces are simplistic and clean but slightly more casual than previous seasons. I really like the color range, subtle colors like greens, blues and greys done on classic style 40′s and 50′s  shirts, sweats, chinos and shorts. I love the wearability of the range, no fuss whatsoever just clean classic looks. Keep reading for more…

Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2011

We made it back from the trip all in one piece, so now it’s time to get back on the blogrind (yes I just made that up). With that being said here’s a look at the forthcoming collection from resident favourites Our Legacy, with their spring/summer 2011 collection entitled ‘Observations.’ The collection is what you would expect from these guys, spot-on timeless classics with a few twists. The pieces and looks are so understated and that is what’s to love from the label. Keep reading for the entire lookbook…

What I’m Wearing: Early Spring 2010

Here is the second edition of the ‘What I’m Wearing’ feature here at 84/85, this time with the early spring look. With the weather being a bit unpredictable out there as of late I have been trying to set the tone for spring by wearing light and comfortable pieces, but still keeping it a bit layered. I have been wearing the hell out this vintage lightweight khaki parka for the last month or so, it’s just so easy to wear. I have also really been in to these washed out Our Legacy jeans and light heather grey hoodie by Wings+Horns. I tend to pair them with a darker grey striped tee and my cotton EG scarf. And to carry around my goods I keep it light with this small military shoulder bag that fits everything I need for a ride or walk around town. Overall the look is light and relaxed, which is exactly how you should feel come springtime.
