One more video today, Patrick Seabase showing us how it’s done with the dead serious 47×17 climb and smash. Trackbikes, they are awesome, and should not be underestimated. Needs to get me to the Alps to try this myself (or the Rockies for the CDN version).
Patrick Seabase (featured previously here) hammers through a gorgeous forest setting in this short edit from Swiss studio DIY, showcasing the new Cinelli MASH single speed cross. Rain soaked and dense, this looks like it could have been shot yesterday here on the coast: this is the beauty of fall/winter riding, more cosmic space to connect with the bike and nature.
Patrick Seabase has been known to bomb some impressive hills before, but his new adventure in Eritrea might be his most out-there mission yet. Seabase recently released a trailer for his forthcoming film ASMAWA, documenting his time riding and interacting in the African nation. I’ve had a personal connection to Eritrea since I was a kid, as good family friends were traveling there regularly to help with post-independence infrastructure construction and NGO work, always emphasizing the amazing human stories and hope for the future that the young people they met and worked with held. Can’t wait to see the full feature, trailer above, and bonus vid of Seabase climbing/descending the infamous Stelvio below that.
