Bamboo Shoots Spring/Summer 2013

So much good stuff in this s/s 2013 lookbook from Japanese retailer Bamboo Shoots, with featured lines ranging from long time favourites such as Ebbets, Wild Things, The North Face and Buzz Ricksons, to previously-unheard of, un-googleable labels like Common Education and Strawberry Bale Designs. And while the styling perhaps doesn’t quite live up to the 2012 lookbook (in my humble option), these styles are still put together with a lot more thought than your average shop. (Ed. Note – we do not condone mall grabbing)

Supreme x Vans S/S 2013

‘The Vans #86 Lampin was originally produced in the USA in 1993, introduced at the time as an updated durable skate shoe. This summer, Supreme will be releasing a new version of the Vans Lampin.’ The first ‘Preme collab we’ve featured this season, can’t knock the ongoing quality of the Vans connection and these are no different: oxblood / navy colourway is my personal favourite.

Muttonhead – ‘Propr Sport’ S/S 2013 Editorial

Muttonhead have teamed up with Montreal photographer Spencer Edwards of Propr Postur, for this editorial shoot for the spring/summer 2013 collection. Titled ‘Propr Sport’ the shoot features the new items from the Mutt’s SS13 ‘Good Sport’ collection. Great looks for both guys and girls and some really nice shots, great team efforts all around.

Balabushka Remnants Spring/Summer 2013

Here is a look at the latest from Japanese label Balabushka Remnants and their spring/summer 2013 collection. The label was started back in late 2009 by designer Jun Hirano who had a concept of making clothing that gets better with wear, with a strong vintage, military and workwear influence. This seasonal collection has a baseball theme, complete with branded mitt. Great looks and presentation all around.

Narifuri S/S 2013 at Blue Lug

Been waiting on a set of seasonal looks from Narifuri for too long now, so it’s time to showcase their new products for s/s 13 via bike-centric retailer Blue Lug‘s own in-house shoot. The Disney jersey collab is really on point and the jackets look great as always: Narifuri is always 100, check the archives for proof.
