If your a regular here you know we’re down for Topo Designs. We pretty much feature them any time they are releasing any new products and for good reason; classic styles, modern functionality, quality craftsmanship and all made in the good ol’ USA. This time around they have released a new backpack to their arsenal, the Roll Top Backpack. I am a big fan of roll top style bags, very functional and usually they are pretty spacious. We have been following the progression of Topo Designs for some time now, from their initial range of bags and accessories now to their first full lookbook for the this Holiday 2012 season. The lookbook has that get up and go feel to it, which the 84/85 boys can always get down with, pack a bag put on a warm jacket and hit the road.

Since the temperature has droped her on the coast I have been turning to my trusty Patagonia pullover fleece as a warm layering option. With that said here is a look at the newest addition to the Topo Designs product fam, the Fleece Jacket. The jacket is an ode to classic outdoor styles, made of polartec fleece with a single chest pocket,reinforced elbow patches done in a trim fit and they are all made in Colorado. Growing up on the west coast both Kevin and I have seen our fair share of fleece jackets, I never thought the day would come where I would be blauging about them, well it has and I am not afraid to admit it, I want one of these. Topo Designs have released this new addition to their bag family, the Cinch Tote bag. These guys can do no wrong in my books, classic style bags all made in the USA. I love the new products that they keep turning out and these Cinch Totes are no exception.

Here is another new addition to the Topo Designs family, the Hip Bag. I am a fan of waist/hip bags (but I would only wear one over the shoulder), they are very functional on the bicycle or motorbike, fitting just the essentials and allowing for a place to put sunglasses, gloves etc after getting off the bike. I really like what the folks over at Topo Designs are up to, quality products all made in the USA with really classic designs.

Colorado based Topo Designs has been turning out a few new products to accompany the rest of their fall/winter 2011 collection. The new products featured are the Camp Blanket, Cinch Bag and the Shelter Shirts. The Camp blanket is a classic style wool blanket in red with a black stripe detail. The Cinch Bag is a small waist or over the shoulder bag meant to carry your small everyday items, very reminiscent of rock climbing chalk bags. Finally there are the Shelter Shirts, featuring prints of classic outdoors shelters such as Geodomes and A-Frames. All the products, like the rest of the collection, are made in the U.S.A. You already know that I love me some vintage style bags, so insert Colorado’s Topo Designs. Here is a look at their collection for 2011, featuring classic outdoors styled bags all made in the US of A. All the bags are made out of 1000d Cordura outers and coated pack cloth, or vinyl truck tarp interiors with leather accents and heavy duty hardware. I am really liking the mini mountain pack (seen above in duck camo) as I have been looking for a good small commuter bag for carrying all the little things I need; beers, camera, sketchbook, paint, and a little extra room for daily acquisitions.
