Playful presentation as usual from Tres Bien, with the model styled out in front of a whiteboard with descriptions of the outfits written on it, simple yet effective. A great mix of looks and styles seen here, with a bit more pop of colour for the summertime.

Visvim have produced these two styes of ‘Lamina’ backpacks in a range of colors for the spring/summer 2011 season. I’m a sucker for a great looking classic/technical style backpack so these were a hit for me. Both styles, the Lamina 20L and Lamina 22L, are done in a washed, overdyed nylon and Kudu leather with RiRi zippers throughout. The red dirt Lamina bag is out of control, but at 635 EUR I wont be seeing one anytime soon. Both available @ Tres Bien

Tres Bien has just received their first run of the Our Legacy spring/summer 2011 ‘Observations’ collection. The pieces are simplistic and clean but slightly more casual than previous seasons. I really like the color range, subtle colors like greens, blues and greys done on classic style 40′s and 50′s shirts, sweats, chinos and shorts. Head Porter is well know for their unbeatable bags and accessories, with clean and simplistic designs all made from the finest materials and constructed in Japan. So when I heard that they were producing a small collection of clothing under the Head Porter Plus label I was excited to see what was to come. Tres Bien just received a shipment from the collection, which includes printed tees, oxford shirts, crew neck sweatshirts, shorts, cropped chinos and my personal favourite, a varsity jacket. We have featured French denim label Bleu De Paname here on the old blog before with their fall/winter 2009 collection. Now we take a look at their spring/summer 2010 collection that’s just hit the virtual shelves of Tres Bien. They have received a nice little collection from the line, with some clean looking classics for the warmer months. The chambray trousers are looking great as well as the shirting in light chambrays and dark indigos. Another classic looking offering from the French label.

Just in at Tres Bien and your quality local retailer, the spring/summer 2010 collection from Our Legacy is looking nicely understated, just as one would expect from the Swedish label. I had the chance to try on some of the pieces today, and while they fit a touch large for me (size small shirting was wide in both the sleeves and body; I’m about 5’9″, 140ish lbs), the materials, color palate, and styling is very much on point. Coming in at a very comparable price point to many of their contemporaries, the line will likely have a strong season, as they’re on-trend yet ultra-classic, making for pieces with a long lifespan.
