Uniforms For The Dedicated Spring/Summer 2012

Swedish label Uniforms For The Dedicated return with this striking lookbook for their s/s ’12 collection. I know we’ve made fun of the whole ‘put some models in a forest’ approach to lookbooks in the past, but when you’ve got nordic evergreens, cliffs and fjords it just works (and also looks a lot like our home of BC). Collection looks good too, especially like the layering w/ the shorts etc… keep reading for more.

Uniforms For The Dedicated Brand Video

Really awesome brand identity vid featuring Swedish label Uniforms for the Dedicated, covering topics such as their inspirations, how the line came to be, the intersections of mediums in their ongoing creative process, and the current state of Stockholm. The most notable part for me was when when one of the brand founders was explaining how Sweden’s tangible desire to consume Swedish lines was responsible for their rapid expansion and market gain… if only we had the same sort of attitude in Canada regarding our home-grown lines…

Uniforms for the Dedicated Fall/Winter 2011

Yet another standout collection from Swedish label Uniforms for the Dedicated with this f/w 2011 preview. Since its inception the line has pushed a uniquely rugged aesthetic, sort of akin to Engineered Garments but substituting Japanese
sensibilities for Scandinavian. Great styling of the collection, solid basics with a few twists thrown in for good measure… more after the jump.

Uniforms for the Dedicated Spring/Summer 2011

A line we’ve followed closely since their debut, Sweden’s Uniforms for the Dedicated has just dropped this lookbook for their s/s 11 collection. Less anti-fit than seasons past, I’m feeling the palate and styling for this collection, especially the light-wash jeans and scoop neck pastels. Good summer looks for mild climates such as Scandinavia (or the Canadian west coast), Uniforms comes correct yet again… click though for more.

Uniforms for the Dedicated F/W 2010

The design, music and art collective Uniforms for the Dedicated has released a preview of their upcoming fall/winter 2010 collection, titled ‘March of no Coincidence!’ The collection takes influence from post-war workwear styling, specifically rail workers and miner attires. The collection hits stores in July and will be followed up by another music release, a short film, and a concept board game. The looks are very well done and I love the overall effort put into presentation by these guys. Keep reading for a full preview…

Uniforms For The Dedicated Fall/Winter 2009 Preview

Picture 4Swedish line Uniforms For The Dedicated may not yet be retailing in North America, but that doesn’t mean this sneak preview at their fall/winter 2009 collection isn’t worth a look. And while none of the four founders are professionally trained designers, their collective backgrounds in music, illustration, mixed media and marketing make this line pop off your screen. Scandinavian anti-fits, bold color and patterns, comfort cuts, and actual wearability: I would definitely mess with this line, and I’m especially loving the rolled pants and boots look. As of now you can only find their pieces online, but hopefully a physical retail presence will come on our continent within the next season or two. More looks from the f/w preview after the jump.
