Standard California Autumn/Winter 2013

Japanese label Standard California is one that I have really become fond of over the last while, with their great takes on vintage California stylings and aesthetics. Here is a look at their Fall/Winter 2013 collection in entirety, it is a rather expansive range that covers a lot of ground. There is a hell of a lot of goodness in here; from outerwear, knitwear to glasses and a vans collaboration this collection doesn’t leave too much to be desired, just great looking retro inspired heat.

Gosha Rubchinskiy x Vans Old Skool

Hot damn collab from Gosha Rubchinskiy and Vans, tackling one of our favourite models with the Old Skool. The black leather kicks feature a gumsole with reflective laces and details (although I’d swap ’em for white right away). Produced by Comme des Garçon, you know these ain’t cheap, but would definitely fall in to the ‘money well spent’ category.

Supreme x Vans S/S 2013

‘The Vans #86 Lampin was originally produced in the USA in 1993, introduced at the time as an updated durable skate shoe. This summer, Supreme will be releasing a new version of the Vans Lampin.’ The first ‘Preme collab we’ve featured this season, can’t knock the ongoing quality of the Vans connection and these are no different: oxblood / navy colourway is my personal favourite.

Vans Apparel Fall 2013

Here’s a hella sneak peak at what’s coming down the pipe from Vans apparel for fall 2013. Key collaborations for the season include Alien Workshop and Haro: now the hype lines from when I was a kid are officially retro, great. Vans seems to be on a roll with their apparel lines, clean and contemporary, and hey, they do their snapbacks with Starter, enough said.

Vans LXVI Collection ‘Graph’ Fall 2012

Extremely Dope New Shoe Alert from Vans for fall 2012. Introducing The Graph, which ‘blends classic Era design language with cutting edge construction techniques & modern materials to create an extremely comfortable and lightweight shoe.’ I will for sure be copping, nice to see Vans staying relevant as ever and giving their loyal consumer base even more options.

Carhartt Work In Progress Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Now taking the crown for most anticipated collection for f/w 2011 is Carhartt’s Work In Progress line, which has just released this amazing lookbook showcasing  a wide range of rock-solid basics. Still not widely available in North America, the EU-based line keeps stepping their hot up, and the styling of this run is second to none. Pretty much looking like a trip through my closet, this is ‘fashion’ collection for guys who do things that might involve getting dirty, covering all the key bases: denim, sweaters, flannel buttonups, camo pants, shop coats, bags, and a Vans collaboration all present and accounted for. So much more on their fb page, keep reading for the full men’s lookbook.
