Victim Autumn/Winter 2013

Always a favourite around here, Victim with their autumn/winter 2013 collection titled ‘Evolution’ (which I am sure you can tell by the watermark on each image). Really feeling the more street looks with the washed denim, slip ons and backwards hats. Another note is the good layering throughout, vests under/over jackets etc is clutch. Another great collection from the Japanese label.

Victim Spring/Summer 2013

Stoked to see this pop up on the radar, Victim has released this lookbook for their current spring/summer 2013 collection. A continuation from what we have seen previously from the brand, although lightened up a bit for the spring/summer months. Some solid looks seen throughout, although I am more drawn towards the more casual/athletic looks they are all good for what they are.

Victim Fall/Winter 2012

We took a look at the first part of the Victim fall/winter 2012 collection a few weeks back, now here’s pt. 2. The second half of the collection gets a bit wilder with the styling, oversized hoody sweaters and long layering pieces. I am really liking the leather jackets seen throughout, especially the short shawl collared brown one. Read through for the rest of the looks.

Victim Spring/Summer 2012

Up on their site and reposted on Unbar in higher res, here is the first look at Victim‘s spring/summer 2012 collection. We’ve been following the line a long time, one of the most consistent labels out there season after season, solid menswear basics with a great blend of influences, from workwear to prep to a bit of avant Japanese styling. I’m sure a few more lookbooks will surface before they’re done rinsing this collection, and you can be sure we’ll post ‘em… click through for the rest.

Victim Fall/Winter 2011

One of my favourite labels in terms of styling, Japan’s Victim has just released this first look in to their f/w 2011 collection, entitled Holiday. Victim likes to release multiple lookbooks during the course of a season (a savvy strategy in the blog era), as evidenced by entry 1 in their website ‘style’ section – this, however, is a different set, with a touch simpler styling, a bit more appealing to me. The two looks above are killing it: Chucks-style kicks, simpler colors, and easy-to-wear combinations… click through for the rest of this series.

Victim Spring/Summer 2011

Victim has released some of their spring/summer 2011 collection, which is starting to hit retailers in the Japanese markets. I really like the looks presented here with great street styling and wearable, everyday looks. Standout pieces would be the front pocket cargo pants and shorts, the full fit military pants, the denim jackets and the great backpack seen up top. Another hit from one of our favourites, keep reading for more looks…

Victim Fall/Winter 2010 Lookbook

A bit late to the seasonal party, but this extensive lookbook for Victim’s f/w 2010 collection is pretty formidable nonetheless. I’m really feeling the styling of this presentation, with understated combinations and relaxed fits. The collection is put together to a T, with my personal highlights being the varsity and denim jackets, and the knit rollneck shown with shorts and boots. Also: is 2011 the year menswear re-embraces the looser jean (did that already happen in 2010)? I think we’re gonna put our bets on yes. Click through for the rest of this outstanding lookbook.
